Catcher Collage

So I have been working on a collage for the Catcher for one of the players on the Patriots team- I think it came out pretty cool.

In the Garden

Ok so back to the sunflowers and garden- we got our first squash and I should have a couple of tomatoes ready in the next few days- there were two really cool bugs in there the other day and I got some cool pictures. The sunflowers are as tall as Joe (5'6")- these pics are a couple of days old.

Cherry Point Airshow

So June 5,6,& 7 was the Cherry Point Airshow, and part of working for Combat Camera is being there all three days to photograph the event- it was miserably hot with ambient air temps on the flight line (where I photographed from reaching 120 degrees) Needless to day 3 days in that heat was not fun & extremely exhausting, but I did get some great images- here are some of the bests- I am going to try and put together a slide show.

Design Work & Musicians for Hire!

So I designed some business cards for our friends Rachel & Dave- they are both amazing musicians- feel free to hire them for your wedding or event! We put together their business cards through a combination of images I took and some from band trips- what do you think?

Brandon & Lynn's Wedding

So the day after the maternity and engagement session (June 1,) I shot Brandon & Lynn's wedding at Fort Fisher, NC. Other than the weather being unbearably hot it was a beautiful day and a great ceremony. I was really happy with the goldfish shot at the end when they went to leave- it came out so much better than expected- I just love the expressions on their faces. You can view the slideshow (music provided by Rachel- the one in the session below- she does all occasions please feel free to e-mail her- I will post her business card next):

First comes love, then comes marriage, then a baby in the baby carraige

So June has been an incredibly busy month thus far and I am going to try and get caught up on all my posts. The first weekend in June I did three shoots in two days, the first day it was extremely windy, I shot Jeremy & Kaala's engagement and Rachel & Dave's Maternity session (my first maternity pics) at the beach. I had to wipe my camera lens about every two minutes thanks to the sand that coated everything. It was also my first time using the new lensbabies 3.0 that I just purchased (see the ring photo). Also the first shoots where I got to put the new Kubota actions we purchased to use. Hope you enjoy!
